Projects, dies, fixtures and automation from real production

A selection of projects: progressive dies, stamping and forming dies, clamping and welding fixtures and compact automation, all engineered in Creo Parametric.

Project examples from tool and equipment design

The views show design states from real customer projects. Part names and details are reduced to what can be shown without revealing the client.

Project images on request

Most of our reference projects are confidential. We are happy to show design states, strip layouts and fixtures in person – on request and once the respective customer has approved it.

Further projects can be shown on request and after clearing them with the respective customer, including strip layouts, station sequences and drawing derivations.

Four project examples in detail

Task, solution and field of application, anonymised, but technically transparent.

Progressive die for a contact component

A contact part from thin strip material had to be produced in high volume. Tight form and position tolerances, burr-free cut edges and stable strip travel across many stations were required.
Strip layout with optimised material utilisation, station sequence with clean piloting, stripper concept and accessible wear parts for short regrinding intervals. Fully engineered in Creo Parametric including bill of materials and drawings.

Strip layout and feasibility review

Before awarding the die, the customer needed clarity on whether a formed part could be produced reliably with the available press and sheet thickness.
Assessment of formability, station count and forces, two layout variants with different station counts and a clear recommendation including the impact on die cost and material consumption.

Welding and clamping fixture for an assembly

A multi-part welded assembly distorted during joining; manual positioning was not reproducible.
Fixture based on the 3-2-1 principle with defined locators, pneumatic clamps and free access to the weld seams. Low-distortion clamping sequence and exchangeable locators for part variants.

Compact automation on an existing line

A manual handling and inspection step permanently tied up an operator and limited the cycle time of the line.
Semi-automated station with feeding, defined part transfer and integrated presence and position checking, built from standard components instead of a special-purpose machine, keeping maintenance and spare parts manageable.

Confidentiality

A large share of our projects runs under a non-disclosure agreement. We therefore show designs technically, but without customer names, end products or conclusions about specific applications. Your data is treated the same way: NDA before the first data set, no disclosure to third parties, filing according to your requirements.
